We are seeking experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants and 1-1s for our Liverpool City Centre and North Liverpool based primary schools.PURPOSE OF JOBTo support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport for pupils either individually or in groupsSupport the activities of individuals or groups of children Participate in the education ofchildren, including contributing to their health and well-beingSupport children with special needs (if appropriate to the focus of the role)- Sensory and/or physical impairment- Cognition or learning difficulties- Behavioural, emotional and social development needs- Communication and interaction difficultiesUndertake intimate care of individual(s) or a group(s) of children within your care.Support to the teacher(s)Provide support for learning activities by- Supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities- Supporting the delivery of learning activities- Support in organising effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records- Support literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom- Support the maintenance of pupil safety and security2.
