TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in NG5 8BU and the surrounding areas. With flexible supply opportunities available, you can make a positive difference to children’s learning while working around your availability.

The role will involve:

• Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Working with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Helping the teacher prepare resources and classroom activities.
• Providing tailored support for pupils with SEND.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and participation.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A relevant qualification or experience supporting children in education.
• A nurturing, caring approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and school routines.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
