Primary Teaching AssistantRemedy are working with schools in South East London and are currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant for primary schools on a full-time basis.Pay Rate: £100-£115 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This is a full-time role Monday to Friday during school hours.Responsibilities include:Providing both dedicated support to SEN pupils and the other pupils in classSupporting the students'' academic progress and developmentEnabling pupils with SEN to become independent learnersEncouraging the participation of pupils in the social and academic processes of the schoolAssisting with the student''s behaviour management and social-emotional developmentFollowing all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policiesQualifications and attributes:Experience working with childrenEarly Years Practitioner Level 2 and above Or Level 3 Teaching assistant QualificationOther higher or equivalent qualifications to mentioned aboveGood organisational and excellent communication skillsAbility to work between 8.30am - 4pm hours during the week term-timeThe role of a Teaching Assistant will enable you to use both your academic and inter-personal skills to support children in the classroom.
