Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham City Centre, NG1 - easily commutable from Sneinton, Mapperley, Carlton, West Bridgford and Beeston Pay: 110- 125 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary with potential to become permanentLong Term Futures is recruiting an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Nottingham City Centre.This role is suited to someone who already has practical experience supporting children with special educational needs and is confident adapting their approach to different pupils. You will work across the primary age range, providing focused support to children who need additional help with learning, communication, behaviour and emotional regulation.The school is looking for someone who can bring patience and consistency while still being proactive and encouraging pupils to develop greater independence.About the RoleAs a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needsSupport children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language and communication needsAdapt activities and resources to help pupils access the curriculumWork towards individual targets outlined within EHCPs and support plansDeliver targeted interventions across literacy, numeracy, communication and social developmentSupport pupils with sensory and emotional regulationUse positive behaviour and de-escalation strategies where appropriateHelp pupils ..... full job details .....
