Tradewind Recruitment are seeking qualified or experienced Primary Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Weston-super-Mare, working with pupils from EYFS through to KS2.

We have a range of opportunities available, including ad-hoc supply, short-term roles, and long-term placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

The Role:

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and learning support
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required

Requirements:

• Ideally Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or
• At least 1 year of experience working in a UK primary school
• Experience supporting children 1:1 or in small groups
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
