Primary Teacher (Yr4/5)

Location: Kingston Upon Thames Position: Year 4 Teacher Contract: Full-time, long-term Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Strategy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a high-achieving independent preparatory school in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, running through to the end of the current academic year. The school has very high academic and pastoral standards and is looking for a dedicated and inspiring teacher who can quickly establish high expectations and make a positive contribution to school life. The Role As a Year 4 and/or 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care. The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Proven experience teaching Year 4 and/or Year 5 within the UK. Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum. Excellent classroom management skills. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons. High expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and presentation. A commitment to delivering consistently high-quality teaching and learning. Experience within the independent school sector is desirable but not essential.
