Veritas Education is working closely with a vibrant and diverse primary school in Newham to recruit a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team immediately. The role is full-time and may lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
• Preparing pupils for SATs with a focus on academic progress and confidence
• Delivering a well-structured and engaging curriculum across all core subjects
• Working closely with the leadership team, phase leader, and support staff
• Using data to track progress and plan targeted interventions where necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Recent experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation
• High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
• Organised, reflective, and able to work well under pressure
• Confident in using assessment data to inform teaching
