Main responsibilities:Teach groups of no more than 8 students who have been excluded from a mainstream primary schoolTo plan and teach a broad and balanced curriculum to students (KS1 or KS2)Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers'' Pay and Conditions DocumentMeet the expectations set out in the Teachers'' StandardsKey duties:Plan and teach well-structured lessons following the school''s plans, curriculum and schemes of work To support student''s social and emotional development, including teaching PSHE, supporting and encouraging disaffected students to engage with education, building effective relationships with parents/carers. Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of students, making accurate and productive use of assessment.
