Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the vibrant borough of Southwark, in South East London, who are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term position for the full academic year, offering full classroom responsibilities and the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a supportive school community. The role will be paid on the Inner London pay scale from day one, ensuring you are fully rewarded for your experience and expertise.

The Role:

• Full-time Key Stage 1 class teacher position
• Planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities included
• Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
• A specific focus on phonics with experience using Little Wandle an advantage
• Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Contributing to the wider school community

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
