Tradewind Recruitment is actively looking to expand our network of Day-to-Day Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in the Blackpool area (FY1, FY2, FY3, FY4). Whether you are looking for just a couple of days a week to fit around your lifestyle or full-time flexibility, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

• Location: Blackpool (FY1, FY2, FY3, FY4, and surrounding Blackpool areas)
• Role Type: Day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and ad-hoc bookings
• Ages: EYFS, Primary, options available depending on your specialism
• Pay Rate: Competitive daily rates (paid weekly)

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-set engaging lessons and maintaining a well-managed, positive learning environment.
• Adapting quickly to different school policies, routines, and classroom environments.
• Engaging and motivating pupils of all abilities across day-to-day assignments.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with individual school guidelines.
• Marking completed work before leaving the school day and providing handover notes where necessary.

What We Are Looking For

• Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are warmly welcomed to apply!).
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable attitude with a passion for education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).

• CV must cover full employment history from leaving continuous education
• Legal right to work in the UK
