Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield on a part-time, long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a consistent two-day-a-week role within a supportive school environment. You will work as part of a job share, teaching a Year 5 class every Thursday and Friday and working closely with the other class teacher to ensure continuity for pupils.

The role is available to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue on an ongoing, long-term basis.

About the Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

• Teach and plan engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with the job-share teacher to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow the Trust''s established policies and procedures.
• Promote positive Behaviour for Learning throughout the school day.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

What We''re Looking For

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have recent experience teaching in a primary school, ideally including Key Stage 2.
• Have strong behaviour management and classroom management skills.
• Be confident establishing clear boundaries and maintaining high expectations.
• Be able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils.
• Work effectively as part of a job-share arrangement.
• Be reliable, organised and committed.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential.
