Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in Barnsley to recruit passionate Primary Teachers for supply opportunities across its family of schools.

About the Role

As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching cover across a number of Trust schools throughout Barnsley. Assignments may range from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, offering excellent opportunities to develop professionally and establish relationships within the Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons where required.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of different classes and year groups.
• Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

To be considered, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have recent experience teaching within UK primary settings.
• Possess strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Be adaptable, proactive and able to work confidently in new environments.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
