Primary Teacher

TeacherActive is recruiting for day-to-day KS2 cover at a primary school in the NG12 area with great facilities and a supportive team. There may be an opportunity for the right teacher to stay on in a long-term placement.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach pupils across Years 3 to 6.
• Deliver engaging lessons and keep learning on track during staff absences.
• Adapt your approach for pupils with SEND.
• Build a positive classroom atmosphere and manage behaviour consistently.
• Communicate with staff about the day’s learning and any support pupils need.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in UK schools.
• Confidence working across the full KS2 age range.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping children progress.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
