Key Stage Two Teacher – South Manchester – Temp to Perm

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Manchester, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage Two Teacher on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to make a lasting impact within a nurturing school environment.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage Two, supporting pupils in achieving their full potential while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
• Establish strong behaviour management strategies to support a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage Two in a UK primary setting
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and adaptable teaching style
• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
