TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Welsh medium Primary School in Caerphilly to appoint a Fluent Welsh Primary Teacher. The school promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment, with high standards across all areas of teaching and learning whilst encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Fluent Welsh Primary Teacher on a full-time long-term basis from September 2026, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right Fluent Welsh Primary Teacher. The successful Fluent Welsh Primary Teacher will be supporting a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh and ensuring pupils remain motivated and supported throughout their learning journey.

The successful Fluent Welsh Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS / NQT

• Experience teaching within a Primary School setting in the UK

• Fluent Welsh speaking and written communication skills

• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2 pupils

• Strong classroom management

• A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning
