TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Salford that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Year 2 Teacher. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school has a strong community feel and is committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher on a long-term basis from September, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right Year 2 Teacher. The successful Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting pupils as they continue their development through Key Stage 1.

The successful Year 2 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
