Supply Teacher – Tameside, Stockport & Manchester

Location: Tameside, Stockport & Manchester, Greater Manchester
Salary: M1–M6 pay scale, £140 per day minimum
Contract: Day-to-Day & Block Supply, with Long-Term Opportunities
Start Date: Immediate & September 2026 starts available

We are recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS) for our supply team across Tameside, Stockport and Manchester, with genuine opportunities to move into long-term and permanent positions as schools get to know you. Supply is often the fastest way into a school you''ll want to stay at — this role is a stepping stone, not just a stopgap, and we''ll help identify schools open to supporting ECT induction terms for those new to teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Take day-to-day or block bookings across primary schools in Tameside, Stockport and Manchester
• Deliver planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum, maintaining continuity for pupils in the teacher''s absence
• Manage classroom behaviour and routines confidently from day one
• Build relationships with school staff and pupils that often lead to repeat bookings at the same school
• Take on long-term or permanent roles where the fit is right, with full support through the transition

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
• Experience teaching within the Primary phase
• Confident delivering the National Curriculum, with flexibility to adapt to different schools and classes
• A calm, professional and adaptable approach
• Genuine interest in finding a longer-term home, not just filling diary gaps
