Pay: andpound;160 to andpound;250 dependent on experience*
Start Date: Easter until end of Academic Year (Possibility of extending)

Job Description and Responsibilities:


  • Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters respect and curiosity.
  • Support students in developing key skills such as literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high educational standards.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, providing progress updates and attending meetings.
  • Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and relevant school policies.
  • Uphold the schoolandrsquo;s values, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:


  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2.
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
  • Knowledge of phonics and early reading strategies desirable
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent desirable
