Job Description:
- Deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;curriculum-richandnbsp;lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
- Create aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Use a range ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform next steps
- Supportandnbsp;reading fluency,andnbsp;mathematical reasoning, andandnbsp;independent learning
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to support holistic development
- Contribute to the wider school life throughandnbsp;assemblies,andnbsp;school events, andandnbsp;enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;caring,andnbsp;motivated, andandnbsp;flexibleandnbsp;educator
- Demonstrate a strong commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive education, andandnbsp;pupil wellbeing
- Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;skills
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;ongoing professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;collaborative practice
