Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessonsandnbsp;in line with the KS1 National Curriculum, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and topic-based learning
- Support pupilsandrsquo; academic and emotional developmentandnbsp;through creative, differentiated, and inclusive teaching strategies
- Create a positive and structured classroom environmentandnbsp;that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience
- Use formative and summative assessmentandnbsp;to track progress and inform next steps in learning
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleaguesandnbsp;to ensure every child reaches their full potential
- Contribute to the wider school communityandnbsp;through assemblies, events, and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2
- Be aandnbsp;reflective and adaptable practitionerandnbsp;with strong behaviour management and planning skills
- Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child-centred learning
- Possessandnbsp;excellent communication,andnbsp;organisational, andandnbsp;interpersonal skills
- Be passionate aboutandnbsp;early years pedagogy,andnbsp;team collaboration, andandnbsp;continuous professional development
