About the Role:
- Lead a Key Stage 1 classroom with imagination and compassion
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
- Help students develop essential skills in reading, math, and social interaction
- Foster a positive, organised, and supportive atmosphere for learning
- Monitor student progress and use insights to tailor your teaching approach
- Establish meaningful connections with students, staff, and families
- Participate actively in extracurricular programs and collaborative school initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) is required
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or relevant practical experience for Early Career Teachers
- A caring, thoughtful, and passionate approach to early childhood education
- Thorough knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and proven teaching methods
- Excellent skills in managing the classroom and communicating effectively
- Current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
