Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant mainstream primary school in Harrow. This is a full-time position starting in September, ideal for a passionate educator looking to inspire and support young learners in their early years of education.

Job Description:


  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum across Key Stage 1 or 2.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and senior leaders to support pupils with additional needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold the schoolandrsquo;s ethos and values.
  • Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and supporting their involvement in learning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, INSET days, and whole-school activities, contributing positively to the wider school community.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom that promotes wellbeing, curiosity, and achievement.



Our ideal candidate will:


  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in UK primary schools.
  • Be a dynamic and reflective practitioner with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Be passionate about making learning engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all pupils.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Be open to professional development and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
