Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Bovingdon. This full-time role is set to begin in September and offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire young learners at a pivotal stage of their development.

Job Description:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for primary-aged pupils.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where all children are encouraged to learn and thrive.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to support effective learning and classroom management.
• Engage in regular assessment, monitoring, and reporting of pupil progress.
• Take part in staff meetings, INSET days, and contribute to wider school activities and events.
• Ensure a strong safeguarding culture is maintained within the classroom and across the school.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an ECT looking to complete induction.
• Have recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Be able to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils of all abilities.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
• Be flexible, resilient, and organised with a genuine passion for education.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a clear Enhanced DBS check.
