Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join a thriving and inclusive primary school in Berkhamsted. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for a committed teacher who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality education and making a real impact in the classroom.

Job Description:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire curiosity and a love for learning in line with the National Curriculum.
- Plan differentiated activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of pupils across the primary phase.
- Track pupil progress and use formative and summative assessment data to inform planning and support individual development.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, respect, and academic achievement through consistent classroom management and pastoral care.
- Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, support staff, and leadership to contribute to curriculum development and school improvement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers, offering updates on pupil progress and supporting learning at home.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, enrichment activities, and ongoing professional development.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
- Be an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner with a passion for inspiring young minds.
- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills and a caring, consistent approach to classroom leadership.
- Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organised, proactive, and flexible in responding to the daily challenges of school life.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a clear DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
- Be committed to professional development and the continuous improvement of teaching practice.
