A well-regarded primary school in Rickmansworth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its team from January 2026. This long-term role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

£ The Role


As a KS2 Teacher, youandrsquo;ll lead a vibrant and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver well-structured, inspiring lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum


  • Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning styles and abilities


  • Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback


  • Promote high standards for behaviour and achievement


  • Collaborate with colleagues on planning and curriculum development


  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning


  • Contribute to enrichment activities and wider school life

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent


  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (placements considered for ECTs)


  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies


  • Confident classroom management and reflective teaching practice


  • Passion for supporting childrenandrsquo;s academic and personal development


  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
