Supply Desk is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 2 primary teacher in the Slough area, who is dedicated to academic excellence, fostering a positive learning environment, and equipping children with essential life skills to help them become confident and independent learners.

About the Role:

• Establish high and clear expectations for studentsandrsquo; learning, behavior, and quality of work
• Maintain effective discipline by following guidelines outlined in the staff handbook and other relevant policies
• Collaborate closely with Learning Support Assistants assigned to teaching groups
• Prepare and set work for students absent due to health or disciplinary reasons
• Reflect on and evaluate teaching practices to enhance effectiveness
• Participate in assessment cycles, including gathering effort and attainment data and contributing to reports, as directed by the academy
• Attend designated parentsandrsquo; evenings to communicate student progress and engage with families

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a current valid DBS certificate registered with the DBS Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Possess QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Able to provide employment references covering the past two years
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education
• Previous experience teaching at the primary school level
