Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for a qualified teacher passionate about delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners. The school offers a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are supported to succeed.

Job Description:

• Plan and deliver dynamic and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum to a class of primary-aged pupils.
• Assess pupil progress regularly and use data to inform planning and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and a love for learning.
• Establish clear expectations for behaviour and implement effective strategies to manage classroom routines and promote positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the senior leadership team to contribute to whole school improvement and development.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Take part in staff meetings, training days, and school initiatives, playing an active role in the life of the school.
• Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met, creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
• Demonstrate a passion for primary education and a commitment to achieving the highest standards for all learners.
• Be confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Be reflective, resilient, and open to ongoing professional development and feedback.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a clear DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
• Be committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.
