KS1 Teacher - Watford

Salary: andpound;33,000 - andpound;45,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2025

They''re now looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join the team from September on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT ready to take their first step into the classroom.

What the role involves:

• Teaching a KS1 class, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to individual needs

• Planning and delivering creative and effective lessons across the KS1 curriculum

• Supporting children in their early development of literacy, numeracy, and social skills

• Creating a positive, supportive learning environment where all pupils feel safe and valued

• Monitoring progress and keeping clear records to inform next steps in learning

• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

• Taking part in school life, from staff meetings to events and enrichment activities

What they''re looking for:

• QTS (required)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or successful KS1 placements (for ECTs)

• A warm, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style

• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• An Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willingness to apply)
