The Role

The successful Primary Teacher will take on a Year 5 class, supporting pupils as they transition into Upper KS2 and preparing them for the increased expectations of Year 6.

The role offers scope for creativity within a well-structured framework, allowing teachers to bring lessons to life while maintaining clear learning objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
• Developing pupils'' confidence in writing, reading comprehension and reasoning
• Using assessment effectively to support progress and close gaps
• Creating a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Contributing to year group planning and wider school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching in KS2
• Brings energy and creativity to lesson delivery
• Has strong subject knowledge, particularly in English and maths
• Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to school life
