Location: Southampton area (easily accessible from Waterside, Totton and surrounding areas)
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Job Type: Full Time, Long-Term /Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, [32.5 hours]
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)
We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher / KS1 Teacher / KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and established primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher who is passionate about delivering high quality education and making a lasting impact on pupil outcomes.
This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to secure a long-term position with strong support and development opportunities.
You will play a key role in accelerating pupil progress, addressing individual learning needs, and ensuring consistently strong outcomes for all pupils.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the Primary curriculum (KS1 or KS2)
- Use assessment data to track, monitor and improve pupil progress
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Support pupils with SEND, EAL and additional learning needs
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider staff
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider school community and school development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools (KS1 or KS2)
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Proven ability to raise pupil achievement and progress
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
