Winner Education are seeking Primary School Teacher’s for a Multi Academy Trust based across Central Birmingham. This will involve both long term placements and day to day cover across KS1 and KS2 starting from September. This MAT have a fantastic reputation for supporting their staff with career development and internal training and support. ECT’s are welcome to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct general class teacher responsibilities
- Whole class lesson planning (except day to day cover – no planning involved)
- Tailor lesson planning and preparation based on individual learner requirements
- Lead and work alongside full time TA’s working with the classes
- Provide regular learner assessments and progress reports (except day to day cover)
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
The successful Primary Teacher must:
- Hold QTS status (ECT’s welcome to apply)
- Have previous experience within primary school environment
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have excellent understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Form excellent relationships with the school team and pupil parents
- Show strong resilience and patience
