Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Salford is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic and personal development, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, demonstrate effective classroom management, and create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support development.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
The school values creative and engaging teaching approaches that encourage participation and curiosity. Teachers are expected to use effective strategies to support literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum development.

Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (placements considered for early career teachers)
Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
Effective classroom management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
A supportive leadership team
A collaborative and welcoming staff environment
