Primary Teacher

Academics is a well-established education recruitment agency working in partnership with primary schools across South Wales. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Penarth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum

• Support pupils in developing essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and independence

• Monitor and assess student progress to inform planning and next steps

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Academics)

• Experience teaching within a primary school setting

• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and ability to adapt to varying learning needs

• Two professional references from the past two years
