Job Title: Primary Teacher
Role Purpose: Join a vibrant primary school in Preston where you will provide high-quality teaching and learning across the primary phase, fostering a stimulating, inclusive, and safe environment to support pupils in achieving their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Plan and adapt lessons to support mixed abilities, including pupils with SEND, EAL, and higher-ability learners
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress using formative and summative assessment methods
- Foster positive attitudes, behavior, and personal development through effective classroom management
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic learning and wellbeing
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, assemblies, and whole-school initiatives
- Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Ability to deliver creative and differentiated lessons to challenge and support all learners
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting children''s educational journey
- Desirable: experience in a specific Key Stage (EYFS, KS1, or KS2), knowledge of current teaching strategies, phonics programs, and assessment methods, experience in delivering interventions or supporting children with additional needs
Salary/ Pay Rate: Dependent on experience
