Primary Teacher

Reports to: Phase Lead Contract: Permanent, Full time The ideal candidate will be: An individual with the commitment to driving standards and ensuring every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential A teacher with experience of raising attainment of all pupils in a challenging classroom environment Someone who is committed to developing their own teaching practice in a supportive team environment A professional who is able to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders An excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team Key Responsibilities: Plan and teach well-structured, differentiated lessons that are aligned to the agreed curriculum and cultivate every student''s intellectual curiosity Use regular assessments to set targets for students, monitor student progress and respond accordingly to the results of such monitoring Maintain regular and productive communication with pupils, parents and carers, to report on progress, sanctions and rewards and all other communications Provide or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual pupils and groups of pupils Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrable commitment to raising attainment of all students in a challenging classroom environment Excellent understanding of both subject and general teaching pedagogy Knowledge of the national primary education system, the primary curriculum, particularly the English and maths programme of study Awareness of ..... full job details .....
