TimePlan Education is currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across Greater Manchester, including South Manchester, Manchester, Tameside, Oldham and Rochdale.
These opportunities are available for immediate start and offer rewarding roles supporting pupils within mainstream primary classrooms. Successful candidates will work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and provide additional support to pupils who need it most.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help pupils reach their full potential
Support children with varying learning needs, including SEND where required
Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
