Tradewind Recruitment is looking for qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work on a temporary basis across primary schools throughout Ealing.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you''ll provide temporary teaching cover across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience, preferences and individual school requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing day-to-day classroom cover across primary year groups.
• Delivering pre-planned lessons left by the class teacher.
• Maintaining established classroom routines and behaviour expectations.
• Ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused on learning.
• Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and year groups.
• Supporting pupils with different learning needs and levels of attainment.
• Providing appropriate handover feedback to school staff.
• Working collaboratively and professionally with teachers and support staff.
• Following individual school policies and safeguarding procedures.

For day-to-day supply assignments, you''ll generally be delivering existing lesson plans rather than taking responsibility for long-term planning.

Who Should Apply?

You''ll need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• A good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different schools and year groups.
• Strong communication skills.
• A professional, reliable and flexible approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting children''s wellbeing.
