The successful tutor will have experience supporting children with SEND and be confident adapting their teaching approach to meet individual learning, emotional and behavioural needs. Experience supporting children who may struggle with engagement, emotional regulation, anxiety or accessing traditional learning environments would be highly desirable. The role will focus on building a positive and trusting relationship with the learner, supporting academic progress and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards education. A calm, consistent, nurturing and flexible approach will be essential. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.
