We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and nurturing primary teacher to join our thriving special school, supporting pupils aged 4andndash;11 with severe and complex learning needs.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons that are tailored to meet a wide range of learning needs, with clear learning objectives and effective assessment strategies.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND through differentiated tasks, structured learning approaches, and focused interventions.
- Monitor, assess, and document pupil progress to inform future planning and communicate effectively with parents and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote a positive and well-managed classroom environment by implementing consistent and effective behaviour strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for every pupil.
- Lead or contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement initiatives, fostering innovation and best practice.
- Uphold high professional standards, actively participate in school life, and engage in continuous professional learning.
The ideal candidate will:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to the classroom, adapting learning to suit each childandrsquo;s unique strengths.
- Resilient and flexible, with a proven ability to motivate and engage pupils with a wide range of needs.
- Experienced in effectively managing pupil behaviour to support a positive learning environment.
