      <description>Location: Rochdale | Salary: &amp;pound;1000 - &amp;pound;1450/week | Type: Contract | Job Title:  SEND Teacher   Area:  Rochdale, Manchester   Start Date:  Monday 15th June 2026 or ASAP   Contract Type:  Full-time, Permanent   Salary/Rate:  MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance/-1,0001,450 per week (dependent on experience and responsibilities)   Working Hours:  Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm   About the School:   This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced  SEND Teacher  to lead a well-established  mixed KS1-KS2 class  where all pupils are working below the national curriculum. The class supports learners with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism, and social, emotional and mental health needs. Some pupils also have visual impairments, although these are not their primary area of need. Many learners are at an early stage of communication development and use a variety of approaches, including Signalong, PODD, PECS, and other alternative and augmentative communication methods.
