This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or someone with relevant SEND experience who is passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive. The resource base supports KS1 children with learning and communication needs, many of whom are non-verbal and communicate through alternative methods. The successful candidate will work closely with the children to support their communication, learning, social development and emotional wellbeing, helping them to engage with activities and access the wider school environment. The school is particularly looking for someone with a warm, enthusiastic and nurturing personality who can build trusting relationships with children and bring positivity and energy to the classroom. Patience and understanding will be essential, as the children may require additional time, reassurance and encouragement when communicating their needs.
