Assistant SENCO - Long-Term Opportunity Location: Chatham Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Competitive Pay Start Date: ASAP Long-Term Position Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting for an Assistant SENCO to join a supportive and inclusive school in Chatham on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced education professional looking to develop their career within SEND and make a meaningful impact on pupils'' educational journeys. Key Responsibilities: Support the SENCO in coordinating SEND provision across the school Assist with EHCP reviews, intervention planning, and monitoring pupil progress Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive appropriate support Maintain accurate SEND records and documentation Deliver targeted interventions and provide support to pupils with additional needs Promote an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive Requirements: Previous experience working within a school setting, particularly with SEND pupils Strong understanding of SEND processes and inclusive practices Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting children''s learning and development What the School Offers: Competitive rates of pay Friendly and supportive ..... full job details .....
