Primary SEN Tutor About the Role We''re looking for a compassionate and engaging Primary SEN Tutor to support children across the BCP area through personalised 1:1 tuition. Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide tailored educational support to primary-aged learners who require alternative provision or additional help to access learning. Many of the children we support have SEND, EHCPs, or barriers that have impacted their education, making a patient and flexible approach essential. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young learners, helping them develop confidence, make academic progress, and build positive relationships with education. Location: BCP Key Stage: Primary Start Date: September Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Type: 1:1 Tuition Requirements Minimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles Experience supporting primary-aged children Experience working with SEND learners is desirable Understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within the local area Who You''ll Support You''ll work with children who may have a range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Social, ..... full job details .....
