Primary SEN Tutor - 15 Hours

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition for a Year 5 pupil in Harlow.

The student is in year 5 and requires support with his numeracy and literacy skills.

It is required that the tutor has knowledge and experience of EYFS strategies and an understanding of ASD.

KEY DETAILS

Location: Child''s Home in Harlow

Hours: 15 Hours (5 days x 3 hours)

Subjects: Numeracy & Literacy to EYFS Curriculum

SEN Experience required.

In this role, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons designed to close learning gaps, build confidence, and help pupils re-engage with their education. Many of the young people you will support have been out of formal schooling for a period of time, so patience, encouragement, and a flexible teaching approach are essential.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers or tutors who are looking to step away from the traditional classroom and focus on meaningful, individual support.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to support pupil progress and ensure positive learning outcomes.

Experience, Training & Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS qualification or equivalent

• Minimum 6 month''s experience in a UK school or tutoring environment

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs

To be eligible, you must:

• Have the Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)

• Provide two professional from the last two years
