The role is within a specialist unit for children with SEN needs, attached to a large primary school.. The school has a welcoming and caring approach for staff and students alike with a child centric culture. They work hard with parents and students to develop an ethos of hard work and enjoyment of learning in their students as well as a growth mindset. The unit has a dedicated team to support their pupils with Special Educational Needs. For this role, you will be delivering adapted class teaching across KS1 and KS2 in line with the needs of the pupils. The class size is approx. 8 pupils who have a range of ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
