Contract: Temporary, Term-Time Only (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Adapt teaching to meet individual learning, behavioural and emotional needs.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour.

Behaviour and Pastoral Support
- Build positive relationships with pupils using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.
- Support pupils to develop emotional regulation, resilience and social skills.
- Implement behaviour support and individual learning plans.

Safeguarding and Inclusion
- Promote the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.
- Follow school safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Working with Others
- Work collaboratively with inclusion workers, families and external professionals.
- Support transition and reintegration programmes where appropriate.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community.

Person Specification
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2 pupils.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Understanding of SEND, SEMH and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships and inspire vulnerable learners.

Desirable
- Experience in Alternative Provision, PRU or specialist settings.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
- Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs and complex needs.
