We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticandnbsp;KS2 Teaching Assistantandnbsp;to join a friendly and supportive primary school in East Grinstead. This full-time role begins inandnbsp;September 2025andnbsp;and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils in Years 4.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils in year 4
- Assist in monitoring and recording pupil progress
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers to support pupil wellbeing and learning
Requirements:
- Experience with or passion for working with primary-aged children
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
