1:1 SEN AssistantPay Rate: £90 - £110 per dayLocation: Lewisham Job Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Assistant to join our supportive team. This role involves working closely with a student with special educational needs, providing tailored support and ensuring they achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.Day-to-day of the role:Provide one-on-one support to a student with special educational needs, adapting to their individual learning requirements.Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote the student''s educational and social development.Utilise appropriate strategies to manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.Monitor and record the student''s progress, providing feedback to relevant parties.Facilitate the inclusion of the student in classroom activities and school events.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in a similar role, supporting children with special educational needs.Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with additional needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.Benefits:Competitive daily pay rate.Opportunities for professional development and training.Supportive and inclusive work environment.Rewarding role making a significant ..... full job details .....
