Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for dedicated Primary Pupil Support Assistants to join a nurturing and supportive primary resource provision near South Elmsall, Pontefract.

What You’ll Do:

• Support pupils from EYFS to KS2 with profound Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and language/communication difficulties.
• Work predominantly with non-verbal children, helping them access learning and develop vital skills.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and specialist staff to provide tailored, compassionate support.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with SEND or SEMH pupils is a plus – however, we mostly care about finding individuals with the right attitude and personality!
• Relevant experience or qualifications in health care, SEND, education and similar sectors is highly beneficial.
