      <description>Location: Enfield | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Learning Support Assistant (ASD Specialist - KS1)We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Key Stage 1.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD.Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.Implement strategies to promote communication, social development, and emotional regulation.Assist with the delivery of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.Support positive behaviour management and encourage independence.Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to meet pupils'' individual needs.Monitor progress and provide feedback on pupil development.Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.Requirements:Experience supporting children with ASD, ideally within a primary setting.Enhanced DBS on the Update ServiceUnderstanding of SEND and autism-friendly support strategies.Strong communication skills and a patient, proactive approach.Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.</description>
